Diagnosis: Normal KUB and IVP
Abdominal Radiograph

On ideal radiograph outlinings seen of:
Liver
Spleen
Kidneys
Bladder

Evaluate for:
Presence
Size
Position
Configuration
 

Evaluate for:
Obstruction
Masses
Calcifications
Free air
Fractures
Device localization (tubes etc.)
 

 

Limitations: soft tissue injuries
-> better contrast enhanced CT or Ultrasound
 



Technique (Normal KUB and IVP - Plain film, Radiograph, IVP)
Abdomen: Normal KUB and IVP
