Diagnosis: Obstructing abdominal hernia

Be honest: did you really see the bowel loops in the left lower corner of the image. Excellent! This is an example to check EVERY corner of the radiograph. The reader, especially at the junior level has the tendency to only focus on the central portions of the film. This patient has a left lower abdominal hernia with obstructed small bowel loops.
